So, roughly two weeks ago I finally invested in a new turntable: the Audio-Technica AT-LP120X. It’s no Technics, but it still does its job pretty well. I’m just glad to finally have a turntable that doesn’t have a mind of its own and holds the platter’s speed steadily.
I was mainly looking for the following features:
- direct drive
- quartz lock (I’m a stickler for speed accuracy)
- pitch control (I have a few records that were cut at the wrong speed)
